Thank you--same to you! It looks like you're going to be in a similar boat. It seems like Georgetown doesn't make any scholarship decisions until later, so hopefully I will receive some scholarship money. I'm very excited about Georgetown, but going at sticker is obviously tough. I'm also very interested in UCLA. It looks like I may not get a scholarship there, but if I did that would make it very competitive to me. With how competitive of a legal market DC is, it doesn't look like homefield advantage for strong regional schools counts for as much which is my main hesitation with GW. Although of course the scholarship reduces the risk. I'm also not interested in IP--if you are that might make that a really attractive offer. It sounds like you would lean towards GW with money vs. GU without? Good luck!
Hi Reb I am just wondering has BU offered you any money?
Not sure if I'd go for GW with or GU/Vandy/UCLA wo. Despite the common sense online stating not to dig yourself into a hole with law school debt, I feel like GU/Vandy/UCLA are worth it. For me, there's psychological value to the joy I get from going to a place I feel is world-class.
Congrats on your acceptances so far? With your current decisions, would you consider going to Georgetown without scholarship? Especially given you have a 90K one with GWU?
