Additional info & updates

My plan to get my applications in by late-October was a massive fail and I've been submitting my apps on the day of the deadline. We'll see how much that hurts me.

Wrote a GPA Addendum, and did the optional essay(s) for every school that had them except UPenn and Georgetown. Also interviewed on campus at Northwestern.

5/8: Tuition deposit down at Georgetown, and I finally hear back from Chicago -- another wait and see list.

5/1: Rejected at Columbia by mail.

4/29: WL at UCLA by email.

4/20: Accepted at Georgetown by mail!

4/16: Waitlist purgatory continues...WL at Duke.

4/12: WL at Michigan by email. Andddd the waiting game continues.

4/4: WL at Penn by email. My top choice, that kind of sucks.

4/3: WL at UVA by email, just happy to not be rejected.

3/26: In at UT Austin by phone call.

3/15: Invitation to a group interview for Georgetown. Didn't know they were still doing them so late in the cycle....

In at Vanderbilt by letter and schwag box, withdrawal must have crossed paths with the letter.

3/13: IN AT NORTHWESTERN BY EMAIL! Such a relief. Applications to schools I'd definitely not be interested in that I haven't heard back from withdrawn (Cornell, BU, BC, GW).

3/5: In w/ $ at Wash U (total for 3 years listed).

2/22: First decision a Rejection at UC Berkeley. No surprises there.

I should have, other California schools haven't treated me well and I love it out there. Didn't really have my act together by the deadline, but feeling very grateful for the options I do have.
