Extra Curricular Information

Studied for the LSAT for over a year. Even spent $2500 on tutoring. Standardized testing just isn't my strong suit and never will be. However, I perform exceptionally in the classroom. Other than the LSAT, I have very impressive credentials in every other category (LORs, GPA, extracurriculars, volunteer work, law firm and legal field work experience, etc.)

Additional info & updates

12/1/17 - 2 snail mail letters came, 1 rejection from Washburn and 1 wait list from Marquette (which is my #1 school)

12/2/17 - 1 snail mail letter came, rejection from Tulsa

12/4/17 - 1 snail mail letter came, wait list from Nebraska

12/5/17 - With as low of an LSAT score as I have, the fact that I've been waitlisted to a few schools so far instead of just flat out rejected by them has kept me in good spirits

12/7/17 - An e-mail from UMKC, waitlisted

Wishing you the very best this cycle, I know how tough numbers can be when wading through admission committees. Give em hell, girl, and shine through! Keeping you in my prayers, let me know if i can help in any way.

Recommendations?

Any recommendations on anywhere else I should apply? Unfortunately, many of the schools that will accept me are insanely far away (Northeast, West Coast, etc.) I live in the middle of the country and I don't want to travel across the country, and I also don't plan on practicing on the coasts so I don't want to move out there, but I'm open to any and all ideas or suggestions!

I am in the same boat as you. 141 lsat score and 3.5 gpa with two great LOR's and internship experience. I never do well test taking but always do well in the classroom. i have also been struggling with figuring out where to apply to schools.

I'm not very good at standardized testing either, I almost considered going a different route because I couldn't do well on the LSAT. If you do get in somewhere this cycle and choose to go, best of luck! If not and you decide to retest I would HIGHLY recommend looking into Blueprint for your study materials. They helped me a lot and it really worked for me. Maybe give it a shot? -Cheers
