As this website is utilized for applications, I will offer the following practical suggestions for those applying to Notre Dame.

- Apply as early as possible; Apply Early Application if it's your first choice; the school offers generous scholarships.
- If it's your first choice, state it explicitly and give convincing reasons why.
- Don't be afraid in mentioning your faith. (One of the few schools)
- Don't be discouraged if you have low numbers; ND really considers many factors.
- Do the "optional essay" because it's a small class and I am assuming they are looking for people who show an interest. (Optional essays are never optional.)
- Visit the school and talk to the helpful admission officers.
- The school emphasizes community service, public interest and social justice programs; students with previous experience in these areas should definitely highlight this on the resume and personal statement.
- Do your homework; research specific clinics or programs you are potentially interested in, as this demonstrates diligence and willingness.

Hey, you applied to notre dame ED, but isn't that binding? so you would need to withdraw from all our schools? I know you wrote EA, but notre dame only has ED which is binding unless im mistaken?

It seems like notre dame's undergrad has a non-binding EA along with possibly their other grad schools, but their law school has only the binding ED. http://law.nd.edu/admissions-and-financial-aid/admissions-information/early-decision
