-12/14/07: My first acceptance! I thought with my low GPA there was no chance of getting in to an ABA school!Ave Maria emailed w/scholarship.

-1/28/08: After a long drought an acceptance from McGeorge! Large white envelope.

-02/18/08: Checked my status online with Fordham. No surprise as it was a long shot.

-03/01/08: Waitlisted at Pepperdine via snail mail. Decision to be made in mid-June.

-03/14/08: Accepted at Golden Gate w/scholarship via snail mail. Accepted at Santa Clara via snail mail.

-03/28/08: Checked Southwestern status online. Website stated I have been offered the waitlist. Strange as I have been accepted to what I thought were higher ranked schools (McGeorge and Santa Clara). Maybe the rankings are wrong? Maybe I'm crazy?

-03/30/08: Waitlisted at Loyola via snail mail.

-04/11/08: Accepted at USF via email. Waitlisted at USD via snail mail.

-05/13/08: Waitlisted at Davis via online status check.

-08/25/08: Starting at Pepperdine!!!!

I'm in a similar boat. Cruddy GPA of 2.1, but with a BSME from UCSD. 3 years of work experience. MBA from SDSU by the time I apply. Your admission to Santa Clara gives me hope! How come you didn't try UC Hastings?
