Wrote addendum about mother battling cancer for 4 semesters of undergrad....as an only child I often left school to take care of her. Hoping that helps explain low gpa due to circumstances out of my hands..

Interviewed at NU first week in February...opted for this. Made interviewer laugh a couple times, they asked why NU questions and looked over my resume. hoping for the best.
