01/03/11 - Bumped to regular admission at GWU. Well, ED was worth a shot. And they have not said no yet.

01/05/11 - Admitted With Full Scholarship to Michigan State. Nice! (34K per year = 102K, not 120K. Actually, if someone would be kind enough to explain why (s)he has figured 40K a year, I would appreciate it.)

01/14/11 - Admitted at New Hampshire / Franklin Pierce, but scholarship information, if any, not provided in email or at online status checker. Still hopeful. Ditto on Seton. Admitted at Albany with scholarship details in the mail.

01/18/11 - Received mailings from Seton Hall, New Hampshire (Franklin Pierce), and SYRACUSE(!) today with scholarship offers (and a T-shirt from Syracuse).

01/19/11 - Drexel/Earle Mack acceptance with $ (per credit hour, okay ... interesting way of distributing it). EM is a newer law school, nice IP & Business/Entrepreneurship programs.
Cardozo, waitlist, may withdraw.
Admitted at Akron by status checker.
Received Albany acceptance letter.

01/22/11 - Buffalo acceptance package in mail. Waitlist at George Mason; going to withdraw.

01/26/11 - Acceptance package from Akron 1 week after status checker said I was in. Apparently, large mail from Ohio takes a looong time to make it to upstate NY.

01/28/11 - Rejected at GWU by email. A little disappointed but I knew it was a bit of a long shot.

02/03/11 - Acceptance letter in mail from Cleveland-Marshall.

02/05/11 - Acceptance letter from Drexel/Earle Mack in mail today.

02/21/11 - In at Villanova and Pitt, but no scholarship offers.

02/24/11 - Scholarship and stipend offer from Akron.

03/01/11 - Withdrawing from most places. My top choice is Syracuse, but MSU and NHU/FP are contenders since they also have excellent programs and offered generous scholarships. I'm also going to let the last 4 pending ride just to see how I do.

03/03/11 - Orange.

03/12/11 - Accepted at Maryland; planning to withdraw.

03/18/11 - Rejected at Boston U by mail.

04/05/11 - CWR emailed this morning asking if I was still seriously interested. They've had my app 4 months and have not looked at it, which in itself is discouraging. I'm withdrawing now, since the reason I had not done so previously was I wanted to see if I could be admitted. (And it would take quite a bit to persuade me away from Syracuse at this point.)
