Additional info & updates

How I heard:
GMU, UW: letter
USC: waitlist letter, acceptance phone call
Hawaii: phone call
Illinois: email
ND: UPS
Georgetown, UM, UCLA, Penn: Email
Emory, Davis, WUSTL: package
NU: convoluted online status checker

6/15: Off the waitlist via email at UCLA!

5/31: Still riding out the waitlists, looking back on my cycle I was pleasantly surprised with Penn/Michigan and surprised by all my rejections, especially GMU (yield protect I assume although I momentarily freaked out because it was my first decision) and Georgetown (#s pled at least a waitlist but I guess that's what you get for applying late). There also seems to be little rhyme/reason with UW admisisons selections too (make sure to turn in Form B!).

As far as the Northwestern interview, they really recommend it, especially if you don't have work experience. I was able to connect with my interviewer (did it on campus, which I would recommend if possible). Although the interview was conversational I wouldn't say it was informal. Be prepared to discuss/expound upon your resume, reasons for pursuing law, and even current events/what you're reading now
