So UDC status checker said they mailed a decision letter the 16th and you haven't received it yet huh? Same here lol.
Noo! Think positively, I saw that they accepted some with our numbers. Let me know when you get it! I really hope mines is a yes seeing as I reallllly want to stay in DC.
Yeah it is! I am at Howard undergrad now so I hope to get in. They take forever with decisions though! I hate these long waits! lol
So did you check the status checker for UDC? Mines said that the message saying the decision was sent was an error lol smh. If the mailing matches up with the status line saying decision made then yeah it's been sent, but otherwise they said they apologize. Smh.
Thank you! I was accepted to their three week Summer Conditional Admit Prgram, which I am sure I would do great at. Lol. Still waiting on all these other schools! Hoping to get a full acceptance to a few more better ones.

You are still waiting on lots of decisions though, I am sure you'll have more options. And oh no I just saw your UDC decision :( I haven't heard anything from them yet smh, they are stressing me out; some of the conditional wait list admits I have have deadlines approaching for their summer programs smh.
My numbers are similar to yours. I've been following you. I know that you will do well wherever you go. Keep us posted!

That's the spirit. Although we may be limited in options, at least we are being considered SOMEWHERE. There is always the option of transferring or just making the best of what's available at any school to end up on top. I just remembered we had both experienced that issue where UDC said they mailed letters and it was an error. So when you saw your decision, was it through the status checker? I am becoming so stressed because they are taking so long!
I'm not sure what you did the first go around with the test, but have you looked into taking a course or the LSAT Power Bibles? I think they are good tools. I hate the LSAT and I would re-take again if I hadn't exhausted how many times you can take it. :) I know for a fact that my resume does not show the same effort as my LSAT because I know I have a strong resume. I just spazz out during any standardized testing. I've never been good at any of them - GRE, SAT, ACT, LSAT. Blah.
How did Hamline let you know about your response? I'm still sitting at review with them as I'm sure they're going "Hmmm.." with my application - haha.
You said you were thinking about re-taking in June. If you are still thinking about retaking, I would be happy to give you whatever advice I can if you send me a message to my mailbox. I think that anyone in your situation should retake, as I have seen/heard of people increasing their scores 20+ points who have scores such as yourself. It will take a ton of work (been there!), but waiting will be the best decision you have ever made if you can improve your numbers.
it is possible to get in somewhere with your scores, I am a prime example. i would suggest that if you want to get in at TSU that you make a visit if you can. I walked in, spoke with the Dean and was admitted on the spot. I know a couple of others who have done the same...good luck! i included my email if you have any questions
Hey! Still debating!! It's such a stressful decision. Still waiting on UDC. I got my acceptance to CLEO two days ago, so waiting to hear back about some questions I asked them. Smh. What about you?
I won't be making a decision until I get back from New York, I have until 4/30 to make a decision. We shall see...
I'd take the summer conditional opportunity at your #1 Indiana University Indianapolis...You may be a good candidate for Law Preview as well.
Good luck with your final choice. My advice would be to visit IU, and sell yourself to the best of your ability. When you want something bad enough the whole Universe conspires to give it to you.
They have my app on "Hold" at UDC as of 4/9. Sent an LOCI and have to decide by tomorrow whether I'll accept CLEO

Hey--if there is anything I learned about taking the LSAT its practice practice practice..literally that is the ONLY way you will improve. I put in a solid 2 months of 6 days a week doing 2 prac tests a week and the nights I didn't do prac tests I did 2-3 timed sections rotating the 3 diff types. I increased my score 11 points. You can do it!!! Good luck :)

ahh. i see. i was waitlisted 4-11-12. So, June 1st to the 22nd is when I should keep my ears and eyes peeled. Not like i haven't kept em alert haha

hey, I'm planning a visit to the school this friday, was just wondering if you sent anything to let them know that you were coming to visit, or if you dropped by the admissions office at all?
the visit went better than expected! got an impromptu tour and bonded with Val Young at the front desk! she even updated my file about my visit and even called Dean Kinney about my visit! LOCI addressing wise, i adressed it to the actual law school address and put to whom it may concern. emailed it to mossier and law admit and every email that was listed. I hear that it is more effect to address and email it directly to Patricia Kinney!

yup. orientation schedules were released this morning to accepted students. I'm fully paid up at SU. Got an apt and will be attending a top 100 program, also trial advocacy is ranked 12th. which is something i really like. Also, Newhouse school of comm is pretty much the best thing i could couple my J.D with. so, yes, I'm giving up. everything happens for a reason! Good Luck!
