Additional info & updates

I'm going to Penn. A shame about the Columbia rejection, but I never expected to get nearly as far as I did. All in all, I did far better than I expected to.

4-13-07: Scholarship from Cornell.

4-03-07: Waitlisted by Columbia.

3-24-07: Accepted by UPenn, rejected by Harvard. Big envelope from the former, small one from the latter.

3-15-07: Georgetown offers no grant aid. Will try to change that.

2-05-07: Rejected by Stanford. No surprise there.

1-29-07: At last the rejections have come- NYU and Berkeley.

1-26-07: Put on hold by Northwestern. I'm sensing a pattern here.

1-17-07: Put on hold by Harvard. I can't believe they didn't reject me, but those letters should start coming in soon now.

12-26-06: Deferred by Penn. Definitely not a happy day.

12-23-06: Scholarship offer from Duke arrives in a normal envelope.

12-18-06: Cornell gives news of acceptance with not one, but two e-mails. Cool.

12-14-06: Deferred from Columbia. I realize my chances there aren't that great, but at least I wasn't rejected outright.

Fee waivers: Duke & Northwestern. Some might have slipped through because I don't check my junk mail folder often enough. Oh, well.
