ARE YOU CRAZY!?

You only applied to Yale and Columbia?! You have a much higher chance of getting in at Stanford or even Harvard than at Yale, and they are about the same levels of prestige! I can't understand why you'd cut your chances off like that. Congrats on Columbia, anyway. I got accepted there and am seriously considering it, because of their awesome JD/Matrise-en-droit program.

I didn't base my choices just on rankings, I based them on where I actually want to go. While I know Yale is a major long shot, it's a school I really like. Both Harvard and Stanford did not appeal to me for various reasons, and I see no point in applying to schools on name alone if I don't think they are a good match for me.

Thanks for the congrats! I have no idea about a first choice as of now (including yale- not that I think that's likely!), I need to visit some schools/hear about $ before start deciding.

Cardozo?

With Columbia and NYU in the bag, are you still seriously considering Cardozo? If so, I understand -- they're throwing serious $$ your way; but if not, you should withdraw, to free up that money for other applicants. Congrats on some amazing acceptances!!

I'm still seriously considering all options, especially ones with scholarships. Once I've made a decision I will start withdrawing.
