Additional info & updates

In the interest of full disclosure for future applicants: Stanford offered me about $20K in grant aid for the first year and Harvard offered me slightly less. The foremost reason for why I picked Stanford was the culture: literally everyone I met there seemed genuinely happy and excited to be there. Because culture can only really be discerned from seeing the campus for oneself, I really recommend attending ASWs and even visiting outside of ASWs if possible.

4/23/12- Turned in my deposit to Stanford at the Stanford ASW, excited to be joining the class of 2015!

2/1/12- Withdrew from everywhere except for Harvard, Stanford, and Columbia. Some tough decisions but wanted to open up slots for others.

1/27/12- Waitlisted at Virginia via email, likely will be withdrawing there and a couple of other places soon.

1/26/12- In at Columbia via mail, with a Hamilton!!

1/13/12- In at Chicago via phone call!

12/28/11- Call from Dean Deal, in at Stanford! This is surreal!

12/20/11- KB2! In at Harvard!

12/13/11- KB1.

12/13/11- Call from NYU confirming admission. Nice to have that personal touch!

12/12/11- Admitted to NYU via Decision Letter Sent on the status checker, and then access to the Admitted Students Website!

11/9/11- Admitted to UCLA via phone call from Dean Schwartz; also informed of full tuition scholarship!

10/17/11 - Admitted to Duke via Priority Track. I am thankful for PT providing me with a decision so early in my cycle.
