2/28/2014: It looks as though my cycle is almost complete with just a few schools pending. As expected, I was rejected from the T14 schools I applied to but no hard feelings. I have a great selection of schools to choose from and with my GI Bill, most will be nearly tuition free. Hope others have had success this cycle. Best of luck.

4/2/2014: After careful consideration, I have decided to attend the University of Notre Dame Law School. The schools I visited made this decision difficult but I was attracted to the strong clerkship numbers of NDLS. With the revised Yellow Ribbon program, I will have all tuition and fees covered for my 3 years and living expenses covered while in school so debt will not be an issue. All in all, I am pleased with the entire law school application process and results.

Additional info & updates

10/28/2013 - Figured I would cast a wide net since my undergrad GPA is so horrible. My thinking is that if they offer a fee waiver I might as well let my application speak for me forcing them to deny me rather than just counting myself out from the beginning.

Good work on the LSAT friend, and congrats on getting into Notre Dame, that's a great school, in fact it's one of my target schools. Can I ask how you got that LSAT score? What did you do to prep? All the best, hope you also get into Northwestern.

I took a prep course after work with TestMasters. Wish I had more time to devote to studying but had to be happy with what I got.

Hey I have similar stats and am 9 years out of college as well. Any insight on how your work experience played into their evaluation of your applications?

Work experience did play a large part in some of my acceptances such as WUSTL and Notre Dame but I have military experience.

Fee Waiver

Did Seattle waive it for Military service? They wouldn't budge when I asked.

They did for me but it could have been timing since I asked in September for all the schools. They may just be stingy now that the cycle is half done.

Congrats on Notre Dame

Congrats my friend, Notre Dame is awesome. I'm hoping also hoping Notre Dame takes a chance with me, only time will tell however, but I'm doing everything to ace the LSAT and hopefully get to where you're at. Congrats once again and all the best, I'll be following you to see if you get into the rest of your choices.
