Way behind my planned timeline, wanted to get apps out early because im a splitter. That didnt happen. Scored ~7 pts below pt average on Dec 2013 LSAT.. that sucked. Sending apps to see what sticks. If I dont like the offers, retake and reapply next year.

Personal statement was lackluster, sent a GPA addendum explaining one quarter of failing grades because I failed to withdraw from courses when I joined the army. Did interviews for vandy and NU. Did optional essays for most of the higher ranked schools and Cincinnati.

3 Feb

Acceptance letter from Capital with scholarship info in it. 25k renewed annually with a 3.0 stipulation.

12 Feb

Accepted to Toledo with a full ride. $22k annually renewable with a 2.9 stipulation

14 Feb

Accepted to Cincinnati by email. More information and a letter from the Dean of Admissions in the mail.

21 Feb

Accepted to Akron. 17k per year with a 1st semester 2.9 GPA stipulation and must finish each academic school year in the top 33% of the class.

UC scholarship 15k the first year and 10k every year after with a good standing stipulation

March 24

Waitlisted at OSU.. wasnt expecting that. Vandy decision is in the mail, but no package is showing so more than likely a ding as well.

April 15

Waitlisted at Texas and Minnesota. More than likely because of how late in the cycle I applied, because others with similar numbers got in with scholarships. Withdrew from Minnesota, Toledo, Akron, and Capital. Sent a letter of interest to OSU and Texas.

It looks like my decision is down to OSU, Texas, Cincinnati, or sit out this cycle, retake, and apply early in the next cycle.
