thanks for the advice, I completley agree with you...and I think my decision will be seton hall...newark sent an email saying they wont make a decision till mid to late April, so if I do get in, I might switch. Good luck to you :)

I do think so. Atleast they are not both horrible, and some people are just not good at taking standarized tests, but you have proved yourself to be a great student with a good GPA...so you will be able to succeed in Law school...I've noticed that the tier 3 and tier 4 schools were the ones that rejected me, and I really got good acceptances from better ranked schools. I wish you luck :)

What kind of recommendations did you get? That has to count for something. For my recommendations, i have the mayor of the town i live in, a lieutenant, and a lawyer. Also, I have letters from the states attorney concerning the internship i did in his office. The states attorney attended John Marshall, so that is a big plus. This whole process stinks. Have you applied before?

yes it is hectic

no, not to law school. Well recomendation letters are HUGE!! I have the dean of my college, a professor, and my boss at my current job...I am a reporter. It sounds like you got good very important people to recommend you, but do they actually know you on a personal level? because it matters more if they actually know you than just some high ranked people that met you once, you see?

I got into both night programs (i love my full time job too much to leave for school...) and just recently went to visit both campuses. well, in seton hall's case, building. if it comes to choosing between the two, definitely go visit. the rank is so close, and the tuition is NOT. It's definitely worth your while to go visit. When did Seton Hall want your seat deposit?
