Additional info & updates

7/11-I thought my cycle was over, but I just got into Penn off the waitlist!!! I really loved Vanderbilt, but Penn was my number 1 choice and it's going to be cheaper. I have a tough decision ahead of me, but I'm leaning Penn at the moment.

5/8 - I made a decision to go ahead and deposit at Vandy!!! I hope this cycle is of use to someone.

4/9 - I've been waitlisted at both Penn and Duke, my top choices besides Vanderbilt. I'm thinking about depositing at Vanderbilt and riding out their waitlists through the summer.

4/4-It's been awhile and I should update. I received my scholarship offer from Vanderbilt and I'm pleasantly surprised with the 30K!!! I was also waitlisted at UVA and rejected from Emory. I'm liking Vandy more and more as the days go by lol...very excited about how this cycle is playing out.

2/21-I received scholarship offers finally from Rutgers and I was just admitted into Temple!!! $10K/year from Rutgers and $20K/year from Temple, which makes the two pretty equal in cost. Still waiting to hear from other schools and receive an offer from Vanderbilt.

1/28-I figured I might as well add my information to the mix to help future students out. I was extremely surprised to get admitted into Vanderbilt, and that is one of my top choices so I'm thrilled that the cycle is starting off so well. I wish everyone else here the best of luck on their cycle!!

Congrats on Vandy! From the looks of the March admitted student program, you'll love it there! Good luck

Congrats!`

Congrats on all of the great acceptances! Do you have any advice for waitlisted students at Penn?

Thanks. The only advice I can give is to write really good LOCIs that show your interest and emphasize their interdisciplinary learning. Penn really values their interdisciplinary learning opportunities so if there's something else you're interested in besides law that they offer mention it. I can't speak to the merits of calling/additional letters of rec/resume updates but I don't think it can hurt. I just didn't do much of that.
