Additional info & updates

After taking out student loans to fund a MSc. program in London, I am most likely looking to accept a substantial scholarship.

I would update the information regarding my applications for accuracy if I could, but this dang website won't let me. Apologies.

Scholarships are 3-year totals.

2/1: First two acceptances have rolled in. In at Iowa via status checker and email (the next day); In at Wisconsin via e-mail and updated status checker.

2/6: In at MSU via phone call/voice mail. 100% scholarship. I wasn't able to answer the phone, so am waiting for my acceptance packet in the mail for more scholarship details. Also in at Chicago-Kent via an email from the dean. Further information is to follow.

2/7: In at Case Western via a phone call from the dean. Hinted at scholarship potential and will find out within a few weeks. Waitlisted at Minnesota via email and updated status checker. Not a big deal - there was a small chance I would end up there if I was accepted. I think I was a little too late in the cycle anyways.

2/10: Packet arrived from Chicago-Kent. $75,000 scholarship over 3 years, no GPA-requirement for renewal.

2/21: In at Loyola-Chicago via email. Packet to follow.

2/25: Loyola packet received today. $21,000 scholarship per year offered with renewability each year (2.0 GPA).

2/28: In at IU-Bloomington via email. Offered merit scholarship to cover full non-resident tuition, plus waived optional Summer Start tuition. Very excited about this! I wasn't expecting it. My decision may have just been made.

2/28: In at OSU via status checker. Also received a phone call/voice mail. Said that scholarship letters will be mailed out in a few weeks, separate from admit packets. It would have been nice to know what kind of scholarship I'm looking at, but I don't see it trumping IU's offer anyways!

3/3: Cycle over -- I've decided to take IUB's offer! I'm technically still waiting on scholarship info from a couple places, but I've already made my decision. :)
