Deferred = held

10/7 - accepted to Duke by email

10/22 - accepted to Georgetown by snail mail

11/12 - accepted to Michigan through ASW! Sorry I found out there first Dean Z... I couldn't wait! Too excited!

11/14 - Michigan acceptance package arrives in the mail, and status checker says "decision"

11/18 - Vanderbilt status checker says a decision has been mailed on 11/16 (did not appear until today) and FedEx package arrives

12/2 - Michigan scholarship letter through snail mail and ASW

12/5 - Acceptance call from BU

12/8 - Acceptance email for Cornell

12/8 - BC status checker changed to Decision Rendered 12/08, and says something should be coming in the mail

12/13 - DLS, ASW, and phone call from NYU! Also, email acceptance video from BC.

1/9 - Held at Harvard. Happy I'm not rejected, but also getting my hopes up - not good!

1/12 - Acceptance via snail mail from Emory

1/13 - Waitlist email from Chicago

1/18 - Acceptance call from Penn

2/1 - On hold at Northwestern

2/3 - Reserve list at Columbia

For reference for future applicants... Duke and Emory scholarships came late February. Georgetown scholarship came 3/2.

3/5 - Cornell scholarship by email, Vandy scholarship by snail mail. Love Vandy's 5k bonus for 1L summer - great idea!

Late March: Updated scholarship offer from Georgetown, giving me additional merit money. Wow.

Attended several ASWs. Michigan's was great. Cornell's was disappointing. Was set on Michigan from the beginning and will be attending, unless Harvard comes through (not expecting anything).

4/30 - WL at Harvard. Not surprised.

hey, we're almost identical in numbers (169/3.81) can't believe there are people who already got into such good law schools! i'm just putting in my apps now; hope it's not too late. congratulations!

thanks! still got a little bit of hope since my UR date is later than most acceptances so far, but I think the smart money is on WL at this point congratulations to you by the way! looks like your only problem now is having to choose between a couple awesome law schools!
