Extra Curricular Information

First, regarding my GPA... I messed around a lot at community college before getting serious about my studies. My last semester at my 4-year college was a 3.88, but when LSAC calculated in the community college classes, the cum. was a 2.12. OUCH! That prob. hurt my chances in a few schools (that, coupled with mediocre LSAT scores).

In college, I worked full-time while attending classes full-time. That did not leave a lot of time to socialize or meet people, so I joined a social fraternity. Other than that, I was in the English Club, the English Honor Society, and played a few non-NCAA sports with friends.

Not a lot to report, other than I don't suggest working full-time while taking 19 hours/semester. But I suppose you do what you have to do.

Additional info & updates

I am VERY interested in transferring. If anyone out there has any tips or stories to tell me, please do so. I'll explain more once we exchange a few messages.

I just finished my 1L year Fall semester with a 2.24 GPA. Spring grades are not back yet.
I took a summer class (Ethics/Professional Responsibility) that bumped it up to 2.33. I also just got back one Spring semester grade that pushed me up again to a 2.48.

Again, I'll explain more later.
