Additional info & updates

Hey Folks - Just a bit about myself, I'm a non-traditional candidate. I graduated from undergrad 8 years ago and from grad school 5 years ago. I've since gained a good amount of work experience in different areas of the healthcare system.

This is my third attempt at a career in law. The first was a year after undergrad. I FAILED the LSAT, scoring a 136. I used a KAPLAN course that didn't help so much. The second time was after grad school. I self studied for the LSAT using internet resources and scored a 128. I know what you're thinking... give it up girl...right?! But, I was accepted to a Preliminary program at Widener University Delaware School of Law. 2.8 GPA would have granted me acceptance into their L1 program. Unfortunately, I got 2.5 GPA.

I really want to pursue a career in law specifically within Health Law. My work experience taught to me that there's a need for reform as it relates to genetic testing, IVF treatment etc.

I'll keep you all posted on my progress. Hopefully it helps someone else navigate.

Received fee waivers from all the schools I applied to.
Attended the West Coast Consortium Law School Fair Sept 15, 18 in SF.

Just wondering if you heard back from Loyola. And please, don't ever consider giving up!
