Additional info & updates

10-27-09: Heard from UCLA about scholarship day after meeting with dean and tour of the school. They move fast.

11-5-09: JR1 email scheduling interview for next week. Too bad I'll be on a plane when they are supposed to call. They were kind enough to reschedule...

11-17-09: JR1 call. So nervous. I fumbled over my words when describing what I had been doing since graduation. That was the easiest question. Anyway, a good way to think about it is that I shot myself in the foot, but at least not in the face.

11-21-09: In at Georgetown via mail. Decision rendered 5 days prior.

11-23-09: HAAAAAARVAAAAARD!!!! Wow

12-07-09: NYU in a big purple envelope. Somewhat anticlimactic since I knew everyone else had been accepted via big purple envelopes.

12-17-09: In at Penn via phone call. The lady was very nice and energetic. It seems as if acceptances come roughly once a week.

Congrats on your acceptances! We have similar numbers . . . but I'm a month+ behind you in getting my apps in.

Thanks!
