GENERAL UPDATES [positive vibes only]:

4/22 - It's official.... I'm headed to SYRACUSE. I'll admit that I found this application cycle to be a bit harsh, but I'm still proud that I've been given the opportunity to rep the big orange!

4/16 - I attempted to negotiate with Syracuse and was bumped up to $15k/year (renewable for 3 years with a 2.2 min GPA and full-time course load). Even though I will still have to take on a lot of debt, Syracuse has officially become my school of choice.

4/14 - It's been a while! Good news is that I've been accepted to Syracuse. Bad news is that I've only been offered a $10k/year need-based grant (non-renewable) and their tuition is almost $50k/year.

3/1/2016 - Accepted at Brooklyn! Scholarship amount still pending, but it's nice to finally have a choice. :)

2/19/2016 - Received another waitlist offer from the University of Oregon via postal mail. As each day passes, I appreciate Seattle U. more and more. They seem to be the only ones who are willing to give me a chance.

2/10/16 - Another WAITLIST notification! I can already tell that this application cycle is going to result in some serious last-minute decisions. This offer came from Penn State Dickinson (one of my top choices). LSN said that 83% of similar applicants were accepted. Not sure why this is happening to me...

2/4/16 - Got my 3rd waitlist offer from Northeastern. This school is pretty similar in status to Cardozo, so again, I'm humbled by the offer. Still sullen over L&C though.

2/3/16 - Waitlisted at Lewis & Clark. I have to admit, I'm legitimately upset. I was confident that my interview went very well and I really thought that I was going to receive an acceptance. I'm planning to visit the Seattle campus during Spring break, so I'm going to also swing by L&C in hopes of making a positive in-person impression.

1/29/16 - FIRST ACCEPTANCE at Seattle with a $19k per year scholarship!!! It's important to note that I applied for both Summer and Fall semesters & I was admitted for Summer. Still waiting on so many other schools, but it's comforting to know that the law school door has officially opened up for me. :)

1/20/16 - Waitlisted at Cardozo. While I was hoping for an acceptance, a placement on the waitlist was generous of them (considering my LSAT score).

1/14/16 - Scheduled to visit UF for a campus tour and classroom observation next month. Application still under initial review by the committee, but I'm hoping to meet with an admissions representative while I'm there.

1/7/16 - Received a phone interview request from Lewis & Clark (apparently they are by invitation only)!
