Additional info & updates

Took the LSAT three times...(June, October, December 2005) Each time I take the test I bomb one section...and each time its a different section! (latest score 20+19+18+10) anyway, we'll see how things pan out for me.

* I wrote a "LSAT Explanation" essay: I did not complain or claim the LSAT is an inaccurate measure. I simply explained how much I prepared for the test, (all three times) and asked the admissions council to consider other elements of my application.

* All app's sent/recieved via LSDAS

Richmond:
recieved a letter from richmond on 12/21/05: they are interested but have suggested taking the Feb. LSAT.

1/3/06: spoke to the dean and she believes it would not be beneficial to re-take the test.

3/24/06: I was placed on the waitlist. I have visited U. Richmond several times and really liked it. I hope things work out there.

3/28/06: Letter suggesting another crack at the June LSAT. Not going to take this route being that I'm already in at Florida. I still hope for the best at Richmond for many reasons.

Miami:
Recieved letter dated 1/26 stating: "no decision has been made at this time. Your credentials qualify you to be placed in a hold category and your application will be reconsidered prior to April 30, 2006."

3/13/06: Rejected

NESL:
Accepted: 2/8/06: Large white envelope

Rejected:

(most of these schools apparently believe that a four hour test is a better measure than a four year test. I truly feel bad for those admissions offices that believe a student with a 2.9 and a 165 is better suited for law school than a student with an A average in college. Good luck to all those with great GPA's and poor LSATS.)
