Additional info & updates

11-08-11 Finally got my last letter of recommendation in, sent out all my apps today.

12-14-12 Received St. Thomas acceptance letter in the mail, with a 33,000 dollar a year scholarship. However, its not a full scholarship, st. thomas is 37,xxx a year, really weird because last year they were giving out full scholarships, tons of people with 108,000 in their LSN. Thinking about maybe negotiating for full if possible.

Also received William Mitchell admitted notice on status checker. They sent a packet out with other info, so I'll hopefully know scholarship info in a few days.

12-15-12 Got a call from William Mitchell: Full Scholarship!!! still waiting on packet in mail with the details, stipulations.

12-16-12 Got admit and scholarship packet in the mail from william mitchell. Full scholarship is based on me having a 2.5 at the end of my first and second year, only bottom 10-15% of class fall below 2.5. Makes my decision super easy!!!

1-31-12 Rejected at the U of MN today. Was hoping to at least get on the waitlist, but then again, below both medians, it makes sense. However, I'm glad I won't have to contemplate whether or not I should go to a law school that I would have to pay tuition for. William Mitchell here I come!

haha well I have a different lsn name for a reason... I'm hoping for Cornell (I'd be tempted to pay sticker) but I am pretty debt averse so scholarships will play a huge part in my decision. Best of luck to you!

Not a fan of stips- especially as high as top 1/3. So let's hope not!

Yeah it's a tough choice. I'll definitely be giving Mitchell more weight with this offer in hand.
