Hey there, I'm from New York. Yeah I am a bit surprised about New York. They must've not been fond of my personal statement or something.

Very unbelievable

Mike, I'm sorry to hear you are disappointed with my cycle so far. If you took the time to read you might noticed that my gpa over the last three years is 3.75. That, coupled with my 'decent' test score has given schools a reason to believe in me. I don't mean to throw water on your parade either, but a sub-par gpa coupled with an average lsat might be the reason your parade is already wet.

Cool guy

No, you felt the need to comment on my profile, and you had nothing to say. Does my 161 make me better than you? Of course not. What you should do however, is focus your frustration about the emphasis on lsat scores at the law schools you are applying to. Not some guy who happened to do better than you. There are tons of people who crushed my 161, but you don't see me whining to them.

Thanks for the comment. So far I've been rejected from two schools and for some reason it didn't even bother me. Just think about it like this, if they don't want you it probably would not have been a good fit any way. Did you go to the Roger Williams accepted students day?

What do the indexes mean?

RWU, Suffolk

I went to the ASD at RWU and it was really amazing. I brought my boyfriend with me to check it out and he asked me where he could sign up. You could tell that it was a really special place and the faculty was amazing. I had lunch with two professors and got to check out the other professors as well. Almost all of them come from top law schools and have taught at prestigious law schools. The down side is that they are young and have a small alumni base, but the career services director was amazing. Apparently he has the reputation of being a hired gun who comes in to improve career services and extend their networking then leave, but he's decided to stay at RWU for the rest of his career because he likes the schools vision and goals. I have not visited Suffolk and I am probably going to scratch it off my list soon. I just don't think that I am attracted to the school enough to justify the cost of living in Boston and I think other schools might have more to offer me. I'm still waiting on acceptances/rejections as well and it's getting down to the wire! I hope you get into Suffolk! Boston is such a great city and if you need to get away for a weekend you have so many options and there is so much to do! What is it that you love about Suffolk?
