This was an extremely touch decision! However, I am happy that I had such great options to choose from.

I was so disappointed to be rejected by GWU, although I knew that I was statistically on the outer edge of their acceptance range. It was a hard letter to get, but I decided to feel relieved that I would not have to spend such an obscene amount of money on school.
Casting a wide net of applications made me feel like I had not over nor under estimated my own potential. Had I only applied to schools I felt sure I would be accepted at I might never have known how far I could go!

Of the schools I was accepted to I personally visited American, University of Illinois and University of Maryland. I was very excited about the acceptance to Hastings, but because it didn't come with a scholarship I felt that it was not a practical choice, much as I would have liked to attend there.

The hardest choice was between Illinois and Maryland. Both are great schools and once cost of living, scholarships and tuition rates were all factored in there was not a lot of cost difference for my particular situation. I could have definitely seen myself being happy with either choice, but ultimately I had to identify the factors which I felt were key to my overall success in law school. I know Illinois is going to be the environment most conducive to getting top grades and a good job on graduation. Therefore, I am off to Urbana-Champaign!
