Additional info & updates

Decision Date is the date on the letter.

1-22-2005 Received letter from Campbell asking me to come in for interview. Interview scheduled for Feb. 6 - Wish me luck! :)

1-31-2005 Got my acceptance to Florida Coastal today!! Not one of my top picks, but definitely still great. Now I know I will definitely be in law school in August! Also got a $12,000/year Governor's Scholarship. Came in a fat regular business sized envelope.

Here's a question I have... Anyone please feel free to answer... I have been getting invites to apply at schools. Should I apply to a few that have come in that are close to home? Or are these mostly BS advertising stuff that I shouldn't worry about? Also, is it really too late in the app cycle to be sending out new apps? My LSAC file is complete so there would be little hold up. Any info would help?

2-6-2006 Went for interview at Campbell today. Went very well and they say I should hear something back within 2-3 weeks.

2-6-2006 Received call from Dean Rahman at University of Richmond telling me of acceptance.

2-10-2006 Received e-mail from Charleston School of Law. Packet to follow in mail.

2-25-2006 Received Campbell acceptance in a small envelope. Only two pages - letter and confirmation.

I hope I hear back from USC soon! It is killing me! :)

3-4-2006 Received USC acceptance in large thin white envelope. The search is over!!! YAY!

3-6-2006 Received Barry Acceptance in regular sized business envelope.

3-22-2006 Received Campbell scholarship offer.

3-23-2006 Received Richmond scholarship offer.

Orchid455, I agree with Whackr. There is no need to stress out. You will be fine. You've got the Score and GPA. However, if you choose to attend FCSL, I hope to see you there. I received my acceptance today. As of now, FCSL it is. Best Wishes.

You should here something soon. Based on the list for USC it seems that you should be admitted too. If you get in are you going to go? I am going. I guess that I should put the A in my profile. Sent in my $300 seat confirmation this morning. Let me know if you need any other information.

It may have sucked while you were growing up, but Columbia is a great place to be. It is small enough not to be crowded, but has everything that you need and may want. I am pleasantly surprised with my quality of life here in Columbia.

Columbia & USC

Columbian: I am from Charleston and missed the beach, but I lived in Columbia for 4 years of undergrad. I had a blast. It has a pretty campus and lots of things to do. Orchid: Hopefully you will hear from USC soon. The majority of people that apply have your same numbers so that might be why it is taking a while. Good Luck
