E-mail from Washington and Lee and George Washington.
Iowa Status Check turned to Admitted this morning (1/19).

Received letter from UCLA - large envelope.

Large Priority Envelop from W/M - offering to wave out-of-state tuition, give $4,000 stipend and an extra $3,000 scholarship.

Small envelopes from W&L, GWU and Iowa.

E-mail from W&L said scholarship letter was in the mail....excited.

I was able to log-in Lewis & Clark's admitted students' site, so it sounds like that one's a go (probably bottom of my list though).

I really wish my Cornell status would switch to 'Complete'...

1/30 - Business envelop from W&L: scholarship of $25,800 per year.

2/1 - Phone call from L&C, accepted with a $15,000 per year award. Packet forthcoming.

2/5 - Two envelopes (one big/one small) from Vandy. Came with the very cool Obiter Dictum, which has everything I could ever want to know.

2/8 - More info from Vandy, nice book of faculty profiles. Received L&C admit package; they offered to reimburse up to $500 of travel expenses
if I attend visit weekend.

2/26 - big acceptance packet from BU with a lot of info - says I need to finish my financial aid application before receiving scholarship notification. UCLA sent a packet of information about housing/deposits/etc, and I got a letter from the acting dean at W&L. Nice to get some mail finally...

3/2 - Waitlisted at Mich via e-mail. No surprise...and not really a disappointment.

3/5 - Cornell Status Checker went to Decision. eeek.
Vanderbilt Scholarship for $10,000 per year - came in small envelope. SECOND envelope showed up in my mailbox this afternoon, offering another $10,000 per year of need-based scholarship! Now it's getting fun...

3/7 - I broke down called Cornell. They love me....and I love them. What a good day!

3/8 - Received Cornell's acceptance letter along with a nice binder of information.

Between Vandy and Cornell, I'm feeling very content these days. GULC can send that ding whenever their ready, no hard feelings.

3/12 - Financial aid letter from GW today - awarded annual $9,000 merit scholarship.

3/15 - Financial aid letter from BU, annual scholarship of $30,000.

3/21 - I'm becoming more and more sure that GULC is just rejecting me by default....their silence is loud and clear.

Hey, my Cornell status also went to decision today, and I, too, have access to the admitted students portion. THink that means we're in?
