Respectable softs, but nothing that I can reasonably expect to overcome the numbers game. Still, who said I was reasonable?

11/24/2009 - Accepted to BU today! W00t! That was ludicrously fast, considering I only submitted the application a couple of weeks ago. Was left a message from the admissions people while at work, and was assured that a fat envelope was en route. No word on scholarship, though I assume the nice admissions lady would have mentioned it if I was paying any less than sticker price.

12/1/2009 - Yep, no scholarships. Still, I'm thrilled just to have been accepted. For the remaining schools, the wait continues.

12/14/2009 - Hadn't heard anything from Fordham, but while surfing their website late last night I discovered that I *should* have received an email from them confirming their receipt of my application. I sent them an email at around 1 a.m. asking them what the deal was. Woke up this morning to their reply: They got my application, and should have sent me an email last week informing me of my acceptance! Fat envelope en route! (And that's 2 for 2!)

1/16/2010 - In at GW!!! Unfortunately I did *not* get in early decision for the full scholarship (as I suspected, it all came in one letter basically saying "you're not in early admission, but you ARE in"). As of now, GW is definitely my first choice. The only thing that could possibly shift that would be an unlikely acceptance to Michigan. But for now, I'm 3 for 3 and in where I want to go!

2/26/2010 - Happy birthday to me. Aw, Georgetown! You got me a rejection! How did you know?!
