Additional info & updates

April 5th, 2010- Rejected at USC. Woohoo. What the fuck, actually. 3.4, 169, not even a waitlist, you shit fuckers? Even UCLA waitlisted me you crack whores! lol.

April 2nd, 2010- Rejected at U Chicago. Man, why would I waste that money on the two chicago schools...$200 for nothing lol. Seriously, what kind of an idiot with a 3.4 and a 169 would actually bother? Ah well, at least I didn't aim higher.

April 1st, 2010- Rejected at Northwestern. Expected.

March 31st, 2010- Fuck, I got waitlisted at Boston University=(. There goes Boston. I'm going to withdraw from BC (not worth the waitlist for that school) but I'll be riding out the BU one. So, two waitlists, UCLA and BU, 2 acceptances, Fordham and George Washington, and one rejection from Georgetown =(.

Update March 19,2010- So, third school to respond today, and well, I just got rejected at Georgetown. Life sucks. Ah well.

March 19,2010- Kind of cool, I got waitlisted at BC and got all sad, and then suddenly I decided to log into Fordham Application Status checker and whaddya know, I got accepted! I'll wait for the package to come in so I can see if there's any financial aid etc... to be had. Anyways, I think when it comes down to it, despite GW's higher status, I think I would rather go to Fordham Law- I mean, come on, New York City, central park, how can I resist?

March 16, 2010- Well, BC Law had me on decision rendered over the weekend, so let's hope I get something in the mail today. Hopefully an acceptance- it is definately a great law school to go to! Argh, also still waiting on USC (hope it works out) and Boston University, as well as Georgetown and Cornell, feel like I have a decent shot at all these schools.

March 02, 2010- Got waitlisted at UCLA :(. Oh well, at least it is not a rejection. I'll keep sending LOCI but I guess it is time to consider other options- hopefully I'll see some acceptances from my other schools.

Feb 10, 2010- Just got my first acceptance in the mail, George Washington Law School (GW Law)! Hand written note from the dean and a nice big application package. A good start to the cycle, it is such a relief to know that I have somewhere to go!

UCLA is one of my top considerations, sorry!! But LA is your alma mater too, so you can probably expect them to value your undergraduate institution a bit more than your average applicant's ;)

Appreciate the sentiments. Terrible year, isn't it? Good luck with your imminent BC letter!
