11-10-08 - Acceptance letter in the mail from the University of Georgia. They made the decision three days after my application was complete. Apparently the Georgia admissions committee is the fastest in the nation.

11-19-08 - Email from Baylor saying I was accepted with full scholarship.

12-11-08 - Email from Georgia with scholarship details. Tuition reduced to in-state and then $15,000 on top of that.

12-12-08 - In at Minnesota via phone call from Dean of Admissions.

12-12-08 - In at UT via phone call to parents house.

12-15-08 - Accepted at BU via phone call.

12-16-08 - Acceptance from Alabama via email from Associate Dean of Admissions.

12-17-08 - Acceptance letter from Boston College. In the last five days I have gotten five acceptances. Hopefully the good momentum will continue.

12-22-08 - $12,000/year scholarship in mail from Minnesota.

1-03-09 - Put mail at apt on hold for two weeks and picked up a ton of mail today to find an acceptance from Illinois with $25,000/year scholarship, an acceptance from USC, a $5,000/year scholarship to UT, and finally a $10,000/year scholarship to Boston University. For the decision dates I used the dates on the letters of the acceptances to Illinois and USC.

1-05-09 - Acceptance from Houston via email.

1-22-09 - First rejection comes from Northwestern in an email. Was bound to happen because of their preference for applicants a few years out of undergrad.

1-30-09 - Accepted at SMU via phone call. Early decision program took longer than most other schools without an early decision option. Now just hoping I dont go 0-4 my last four applications.

2-19-09 - Rejected at Berkeley via status checker.

2-20-09 - Waitlisted at Duke via email. Decided I would not go there even if I got in and so I withdrew online.
Some good news came today when I received a $20,000/year scholarship offer from USC in the mail.

2-26-09 - Accepted at Washington U via email. No idea when my application went complete.

2-28-09 - $30,000/year snail mail scholarship letter from SMU.

3-04-09 - $25,000/year plus $1,200 book scholarship from Alabama in email.

3-10-09 - UCLA waitlist via snail mail. Sent in the form withdrawing from the waitlist.

Now that all my decisions are in it will probably take me up until the April 15th deadline for most schools to make my decision.

3-11-09 - $15,000/year scholarship from Wash U in email.

3-23-09 - $15,000/year scholarship from BC in email.

3-26-09 - Improved Wash U scholarship in email for $28,000/year. $5,000/year scholarship via email from Houston.

4-7-09 - Paid my deposit today to attend UT! Long process that started all the way back in April when I took a LSAT prep course is now over. In the beginning UT was the law school I really wanted so I am glad I get to stay in Austin for another 3 years. Hopefully I will get to see a football national championship in these 3 years. Hook'em Horns!
