Pretty normal softs (ran a community service project, 2 years of student government, internship at a nonprofit doing public interest work, some other shit).
Straight out of undergrad.
All apps submitted in early november, except for the Mich app, which was sent over winter break. I spent a lot of time tweaking my personal statement and why mich essay towards why I felt my interests (PI work) aligned with the strengths of the school's programs. I have a feeling it helped, even though my numbers were pretty solid for Michigan anyway.

3/8 UCLA acceptance is important for me. I'll check it out, and their public interest clinic is right up my alley, plus it keeps me near most of my friends and an hour away from home. And I love Westwood.
