11/17 - Email from W&L letting me know I should more than likely receive an admissions decision by December 2.

11/21 - Vanderbilt Interview Completed!

11/28 - Sweetest acceptance phone call from the Dean of Admissions at U of Richmond!!

11/30 - Northwestern Interview scheduled for 12/19!

12/1 - In at W&L via email then status checker

12/6 - Under review at NYU and Minnesota; in at Northeastern via email and status checker

12/13 - Rejected at Minnesota. Stings a bit, but definitely not a top choice by any means. Still hopeful!; Under review at UCONN.

12/16 - Rejected at GW. Gotta love rejection emails! Not.

12/19 - Interview for Northwestern complete, and at the firm/offices of Robert Shapiro! So cool! (I'm a nerd, I know)

12/21 - Accepted at UConn via email.

12/22 - Email with Scholarship offer from UConn... In-State tuition for the first year only.. hopefully I could get residency after that!

12/30 - $20,000 a year at W&L with GPA requirement.. too bad it's looking like this school might not be he best fit for me. :( We shall see!

1/10 - Decided to apply to U of Iowa because of their public interest/civil rights programs; Status checker for Colorado has changed to "Decision rendered" so I am anxiously awaiting the letter in the mail!!; In at UK via email!

1/13 - Got the decision letter via snail mail from CO.. Waitlisted. Better than a rejection but still a little disappointed.

1/20 - Rejection email from GULC. Not at all surprised or phased. Eight more to go!

1/23 - Received acceptance packet from USD via snail mil today! (status checker changed on 1/19 to "Decision Rendered").

1/24 - Realized I had a fee waiver to Houston so ended up applying because of their dual degree in Social Work. This is DEFINITELY the last of my application submissions.. I can't take any more!

1/27 - Scholarship offer from UK - resident tuition for all 3 years with "in good standing" and 2.9 GPA stipulation.

1/31 - Dinged at NYU. Obviously. Had to try though.. it was my dream school! At this point mostly looking forward to hearing from Emory, UNC, Iowa, and Houston. Expecting rejections from the rest.

2/3 - Scholarship info from SD. $18,000 first year only. I will likely withdraw in the next week or two.

2/8 - Waitlisted at Boston U via email. I am incredibly surprised and happy about this since I was expecting a flat out rejection!

2/9 - Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh.. in at Emory via snail mail! i cannot believe it! I am absolutely thrilled beyond words! The handwritten note was a lovely and appreciated touch.. Scholarship info to come in the next month or so.. woooo! Beating the LSP odds!

2/10 - Rejected at Northwestern via status checker. duh. Was worth it to apply just to interview at Robert Shapiro's firm :)

2/14 - Accepted to Houston via email. Formal letter to come in the mail. Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day everyone! :)

2/18 - Emory admitted students info and scholarship came in the mail today. $48,000 over three years with "in good standing" stip. So far this is one of my best offers and it's looking like I could be in Atlanta come fall!

2/24 - $10,000 Deans Scholarship at Houston with tuition equalization (so overall about $21,000 a year)

3/5 - WIthdrew from USD, CU, and Richmond today. The wait on the last three schools is getting a little frustrating since they greatly affect which schools I will be visiting. Fingers crossed some news will come this week!

3/9 - Dinged at Vandy.. BIG surprise guys!!

3/18 - In at Iowa via status checker! Hoping for some money!!

4/5 - Just got back from visiting UConn and attending Emory's ASW. My decision was easy peasy and I'll be at Emory in the Fall and withdrawing from my other chioces within the next few days. Go Eagles!

(4/9 - wrote an email pulling my app from UNC. made sure to let them know they have been by far the most disrespectful and rude admissions department I have ever had to deal with).
