04/09/2018 - Received an email from Drake advising that my scholarship offer had been upgraded to $17k / year.
03/21/2018 - sent an email to Drake in an attempt to negotiate the scholarship by having them consider the DePaul offer. Will update when I have more news.
03/13/2018 - Received an email from DePaul with an increased scholarship offer of $25k/year w/ no stipulations! This is fantastic news.
03/12/2018 - Received snail mail from DePaul about more program options and a t-shirt. No news on scholarship info.
03/08/2018 - Sent an email to DePaul advising of the $12k scholarship w/ Drake, and requested a reevaluation based on Chicago cost of living vs. Des Moines cost of living.
03/07/2018 - Received scholarship award letter from DePaul for $15k/year w/ no stipulations.
02/28/2018 - received acceptance email to DePaul. Fuller details coming via snail mail.
02/17/2018 - Check ASO for DePaul - file is in review.
02/02/2018 - received award letter from Drake with a $12k scholarship/year w GPA stipulations.
Decided to apply to DePaul as well.
02/01/2018 4:00pm - Just received email confirmation of acceptance to Drake.
Was very worried about my low GPA, but I believe my LORs, work history, and personal statement made up for that.
I'm very excited to attend a local school and have not received any scholarship info yet. I've been informed that further/more detailed information will be mailed to me.
01/31/2018 - Received a voicemail from DePaul University advising that based on my LSAT, I would likely be offered a $20k scholarship if I applied. I hadn't considered applying outside of Drake before this call.
