Additional info & updates

12/7/09- Waitlisted at DePaul via a regular envelope. Not completely disappointed as I kind of expected this. Looks like I'm taking the LSAT again...

12/23/09- Early Christmas present! Accepted at Rutgers- Newark by email. I was very surprised as it was only a couple of weeks since my application was complete! Still waiting on the hard copy of information in the mail.

12/26/09- In at Miami via large envelope. Also got a large envelope from Rutgers.

1/13/10- In at Pitt via a small envelope. Got a nice bookmark and even better $14,000 in scholarship money (nice surprise)!

1/22/10- In at NYLS via small envelope w/ $20k scholarship

1/28/10- In at Seton Hall via large envelope. No money so Rutgers is still leading the pack bc of the in state tuition

2/9/10- In at Brooklyn's part-time program! Excited bc I have a few friends that go there and like it a lot. Also decided to apply to UNC as I gota fee waiver.

Also checked Temple's status checker and I was WL. Not too upset about this.

2/11/10- Rejected at ND. Disappointing because it was my #1 choice, but not very surprising. Also got my Temple WL today. Not going to stay on the WL.

2/17/10- WL at Cardozo. Hoping for the best in the coming months...

3/17/10- This week I was rejected at Fordham via Status Checker and WL at Loyola via a small envelope. Disappointed, but not surprised, at both. Rutgers is looking and more like a #1!

4/5/10- Finally heard from SJU...accepted! Will not be attending though. Sent in a deposit to Rutgers...but still waiting for UNC

4/29/10- WL at UNC. Pleasantly surprised at this, although it seems like they WL everyone who had decent scores. Never the less, I'm still going to try and fight my way in.

It didn't work out in my favor, but thanks for the brief glimmer of hope. Keep me posted on how your cycle turns out. Good Luck.

Congrats on your acceptances so far. We have similar schools and numbers. Best of luck for the rest of the schools.
