Hey, Best Wishes! I also have similar stats (and an intl applicant) and applying to Fordham and BU.

I think you might want to apply to some more places. Yes, you will be a non-trad. About the fee waivers, have you filled out the CRS and authorized LSAC to release the info? Check once more by going to the LSAC website > Profile > Authorization and modify if need be. Some schools you may want to consider: Emory, Washington & Lee, Wash U St. Louis? Of course, these are off the bat. If you have a regional preference and/or a field you want to get into then I may be able to offer a more meaningful suggestion. Good luck.

Also, if app fees aren't much of a problem, why not give a couple of the lower T14's a shot? Cornell and Duke may be worth the apps. Your chances aren't that bad there, I think.

How about UCLA? Definitely go for Emory. Is in Atlanta and should work for you. You probably will even get $$ there.

I am seriously considering Berkeley. I think I can spare one more round of app fees. I wish you all the best in your cycle. Keep us posted how it goes.

ajlaw, my friend, I think we stand about the same chances to the LS's [similar numbers, somewhat similar bckgs - i.e. postgraduate studies in top programs in the U.S. + south asian] So I really encourage you to apply to Emory, UIUC, UPenn?, and Wash U St. Louis. These are places I urge you to apply since they're all at/around huge urban centers (the exception would be UIUC...actually Urbana-Champaign ain't that bad/small either). As far as IP goes, you might want to consider Cardozo - is in NYC - as a safety, or (if not safety) a place where you might haggle for $$$. Also, largely because I am applying at these places too :) [I am not applying to Cardozo, though] I say this because I am a fellow South Asian with similar number/s as yours [although I am absolutely sure we are of different nationality - you won't get my people applying to J.D. programs here. Perhaps LLM's. But J.D. apps from my country is really, really rare]. Perhaps I am already giving up too much about myself through all this. But, oh well, I am not paranoid but being myself - even when it comes to online forums.

what the hell are you up to? APPLY! NOW! [i.e. if and only if you think you've taken care of your PS's and, if applicable, optional essays.]
