Additional info & updates

3-27-09 Pretty happy about the possibility of a low cost JD from Ave Maria. I am planning on Public Interest, and family practice, so big law is not for me. I figure a degree from from Ave Maria will be just as good as any (that is if I can pass the Bar when I return to California. But I'll take a special class for that anyway)

A bit disappointed in the scholarship at Pacific, it is my first choice (unless BYU comes calling, which is about no chance with my numbers, but hey, someone has to be at the bottom of the class, maybe they'll let me :) so I wrote Pacific and asked them for a better scholarship. I love the Sacramento area.

Whittier turned out not to be a choice for me, they gave me a 16500 scholarship to be renewed if I got in the top 5% of the class. Seems kind of like a bait and switch scheme to me, like I have any chance of top 5%. Besides I heard they were rated among the most competative students. I like playing nice, so I probably won't fit in at Whittier, will be withdrawing.
