Scholarship offers could possibly affect school choice rankings

1/26-Received letter from Iowa today offering a 10,000/yr scholarship. Renewal is dependent on staying in top 1/3 of class. This is a pleasant surprise! Really like Lewis and Clark, but it will be very hard to turn down Iowa, now.

1/27-Withdrew several applications today. Iowa is the frontrunner at this point. However, still very interested in Lewis and Clark. Kansas is also in the running if they decide to give me a significant scholarship

2/2-Called Lewis and Clark, and I was told that a decision was made and that I would be receiving info by the week's end. Judging by numbers and the recent wave of acceptances on this site......I'm assuming I'm in. If money was not an issue; I'd choose Lewis and Clark. However, money is, so hopefully I'll get a large enough scholarship offer.

2/6-I got a large envelope from Lewis and Clark today, and I got excited until I opened it and the only thing inside was a pamphlet about practical skills??????????

2/9-Received a $12,500 to Kansas for the first year, and it says that an additional $5,000 will be available if I maintain a 3.0

2/12-In at Lewis and Clark!! $15,000/yr if I maintain a 2.95. Really excited about this, because I feel the school is a perfect fit for me!!

3/26-Sent in seat deposit to Lewis and Clark. Informed other schools of my decision
