Additional info & updates

I decided to appeal my rejection from Willamette so I have changed my status back to pending and I have returned to the waiting game. We should hear back soon though and hopefully with better results than before!
So, I was able to move from the rejected list at Willamette, to the waitlist, and then after my new LSAT score, I was admitted and I will be attending this fall. What a hassle this has been but my cycle is finally over and I have a place to call home.

Gonzaga had a snafu in getting my info from LSAC and they were very understanding, etc. Rather typical of Spokanites. On the other hand, I got a very curt email from an admissions staff at a school that I shall have remain nameless because I asked for a status check on my app nearly two months after I sent it. You should be fine at Gonzaga, I was surprised with the modest scholarship offer. I'm still up in the air, but will likely take the Appalachian offer for financial reasons and also because I want to be a small town general practice lawyer - it fits with my career track. I'll let the younger ones take the fast-track to the big city. Good luck. Keep in touch.

Are you considering Valpo. I did one year of undergrad there, so will be happy to answer any questions that I may be able to.

The campus at Willamette is quite charming. I wish I'd hear from them. They said my app was "in committee" about three weeks ago... it is important in my decision-making process. Let me know how it goes.

I can't believe it - I was waitlisted. Pretty disappointed. Hope your news is better.

I'm so sorry about Willamette! Gonzaga should be better news. I got $ from them. Keep me posted.
