Additional info & updates

Teaching For America.

3/9: Withdrew from UCLA, UVA, Northwestern, Michigan, and NYU.

3/6: Harvard ASW pretty much sold me. Going to start withdrawing from other places pretty soon.

2/29: 75k scholarship offer from UChicago. Getting excited to go visit in a few weeks.

1/27: Received the VCE from Columbia. Columbia was the first school to which I applied and the last to let me know. I'm incredibly lucky to have gone through this cycle without so much as a WL. Stats will be changed (back) to being accurate.

Also received a Levy invite from UPenn today. Definitely going to take them up on that. Time to write an essay.

1/25: In at UVA via email/phone call. Offered a TFA-specific scholarship for half-tuition. Definitely pretty surprised given how long ago I submitted.

1/13: In at UChicago via phone call. This is one that I am very excited about.

12/21: In at Northwestern via email. I feel very lucky to have managed to secure so many acceptances before the holidays. Definitely an indicator that applying early is a great idea.

12/16: In at UPenn via phone call.

12/13: In at UW via email.

12/12: NYU status checker changed to Decision Letter Sent. Accessed ASW. Cycle doing work!

12/05: In at BU via phone call.

12/02: Received Dean's Scholarship letter from Michigan.

11/21: KB2. Pretty surprised, but very excited.

11/14: In at Georgetown via Snail Mail. Been a good week and a half in my cycle.

11/12: Received Michigan's package in the mail. Quick turnaround.

11/10: Can now log into Michigan Admitted Students Website. Package should be in the mail tomorrow. Excellent week so far.

11/9: In at UCLA via phone call. Offered me a full tuition scholarship for all three years.

11/7: KB 1

11/3: Email from Harvard about the JR1/KB1 phone interview. Good things.

11/2: Complete or Under Review everywhere. Thanks for taking a month and a half to "process my application," NYU.

10/13: Off-Campus interview for NU. Had a pleasant conversation that made me want to go to Northwestern that much more. It sounds like a wonderful place.

9/29: Accepted to Duke via PT. Nice to have one under the belt, but I doubt that my relationship with Duke will continue past this point.
