Extra Curricular Information

I work full-time as a clerk at a courthouse. I also attend business school part-time and am planning to apply to a dual degree program once I get in to law school.

I worked throughout college at various internships and jobs.

Honestly, I don't really think ECs matter that much ... we'll see though...

Now that everythings said and done, i will admit that i used the very same essay i used to get into college to apply for law school...

Additional info & updates

I applied late late.. Meaning, February/March. But I really have no regrets about that, I can always apply next cycle. I can't wait to find out though! Hope I get into at least 1 school.

I already know I am not getting into: Fordham, BC, or GW. I just applied to make my parents happy.

My real goal is to move somewhere warm(away from Boston) and go to a decent law school at the same time.

According to chiashu.. heres my chances:
UMIAMI: 86.9%----oops, already got waitlisted there....
Pepperdine: 71.4%
Northeastern: 52.6%
U of San Diego: 39%
U of Maryland: 32%
Loyola M.: 30.7%
U of Arizona: 16%
Fordham: 9%
GW: 7.5%
BC: 6.6%

3/12/06---- I just looked at my personal statement again and found like 5 typos. I'm such an idiot.

3/16/06----- acceptance to Northeastern. that was fast. I sent in my app about 2-3 weeks ago...Not sure I want to go there. I hate cold. At least I got in somewhere!

4/1/06---rejected from Fordham. i knew i wasnt getting in there so it was good to at least have confirmation on that.

4/18/06----rejected from GW---- Just as I predicted! Quite frankly, the only schools I really cared to hear from in the first place are the ones on the west coast...

6/16/06----almost 100% positive that I will be attending Miami in the fall... unless I get off the waitlist at Loyola or hear from Pepperdine in the near future. So happy about Miami though.

Your profile caught my eye because we have viturally identical index numbers. I will be withdrawing from Pepperdine soon so that may help you. It is a beautiful campus, located literally steps away from the beach. Downside is that it is a REALLY conservative place. If that is what you're into, then nvm =P
