Additional info & updates

I hope this helps anyone who is applying late in the cycle. I took the February LSAT so all my applications went in late, but I don't regret anything. If you want to go to law school, don't give up on that dream. You can do it!

2/27 - Accepted to JMLS Chicago via Email. Not really my top choice, but it's nice to see "Congratulations" in my email inbox! They said scholarship info will be sent in the mail.

3/4 - Got a call at noon from Miami's dean saying I'm accepted with a full tuition scholarship! Today couldn't get any better, I'm so grateful. Miami is one of my top choices, but I was always eerie about the price of tuition and the cost of living in Miami. But now I'm gonna check out the housing options near the school.

3/5 - FIU "Decision rendered, sent in the mail" YAY!! Hopefully it's an acceptance and scholarship.

ALSO, Received JMLS letter in the mail. $36,000 a year, but the letter was sent before the new LSAT scores came out so they should alter the offer.

3/6 - Received Acceptance e-mails from Florida Coastal. Full tuition scholarship! Official letter is being sent via snail mail.

3/9 Received FIU decision in the mail. Full tuition scholarship! I feel so blessed.
***FSU app went under review today as well**

3/11 FSU COL called me and told me I'm accepted! They also told me I'm a competitive applicant for merit-based scholarships, so I have to fill out a form that I'll receive by e-mails later today. The admissions packet also got put into the mail today. I'm so happy!! Will update scholly info soon.

3/16 Accepted to Stetson with a Full Tuition Scholarship!! Amazing cycle so far. Waiting for scholarship update from FSU and admission decision from UF.

3/27 Received notification of $57K scholly to FSU! Withdrawing From UF Monday, not worth the wait :) I already know where I'm going.

***To ANYONE applying to law school, I just want you to know that ALL things are possible. I went into my cycle feeling a little timid, but my faith gradually increased. Don't doubt yourself. Even if you don't have the highest GPA or LSAT scores, make your light shine through your additional documents. You are unique and you have a purpose, make sure the admissions committees can recognize everything about you that makes you stand out. And do not be afraid to get personal in your PS/DS. Even if it's something you have never told anyone, let your guard down for this process. Everything you have been through has prepared you for this moment in your life so do not be afraid to use it to your advantage. Your experiences MATTER. Your voice MATTERS. YOU MATTER. Have a great cycle and go on to do great things. Peace and blessings to you all.

3/30 Just got accepted into UF while I was in the middle of withdrawing. Lol wow.

Hey would you care to share the main points you wrote about in your diversity statement? I'm desperately trying to get UM to offer me some scholarship money. I'm thinking of submitting a diversity statement. Your suggestions will mean a lot. Congrats again!
