Personal Statement could be considered a bit unconventional or risky.

I don't really know how to judge my softs. I would say decent verging on good. I could have done more with my summers.

Wow, it seems like my application just went under review just about everywhere. Cue antsy "it could come any minute or it could be weeks" mode.

Phone call acceptance to UCLA. Long exhalation of breath when offered a hefty chunk of money (as a CA resident, it basically covers tuition). That may influence things.
