*3 year scholarship totals*

12/13/11- In at Tulane=a comfortable warm fuzzy cycle
12/15/11- Deferred to regular admissions by Hastings... no surprise there.
1/5/11- Received a call from Hastings asking if I want to apply through LEOP. Although my GPA is below their median, my LSAT is at their median for the regular program and 7 points above the LEOP median. It also doesn't seem like Hastings gives out much in terms of merit scholarships and I doubt I currently qualify for need-based scholarships. In other words, even If I were accepted through the LE0P program, I don't think Hastings can compete with my other offers at sticker, plus there are definitely more deserving applicants who could actually use the academic assistance provided by LEOP.

I think it's pretty considerate of you to understand that other people may benefit more from the LEOP program. I'm a LEOP applicant myself, and I think I could benefit a lot from the program. In any case, you're right, they offer very little money. Not that I'm expecting that much after my poor LSAT score. Good luck with the rest of your cycle!
