In at Duke with priority track! Hopefully this is the start to a good cycle.

10/22/12
In at Georgetown!!! Regular decision. Surprised at how quick they went.

2/10/13
I'll update with more detail at the end of the cycle to be helpful. Here is a summary so far:

-In early November at Michigan
-In late November with $$$ at UVA
-Money early December at Michigan
-Held at Cornell early December. Withdrew application.
-In mid-December at Penn
-Held at Harvard mid-January
-In Columbia late January with Butler
-In NYU late January
-Interview at Chicago late January

6/18/13
Now that my cycle is over, I'll update with the final decision.

I was waitlisted at Harvard in early-April without a JS1. I received a JS1 invite a few days later. On May 21, I received a JS1b call to ask how strong my interest was in Harvard. I was admitted on May 22.

I'm middle class, and my grant package is $18,000 for the first year. I put $54,000 in my profile for the sake of comparison with other schools.

Moral of the story: I'm so glad I retook. It paid off big time with my jump from a 171 to a 177. Don't give up!
