Hey good luck this cycle! we have similar numbers and are applying to several of the same schools. Hope we get in! :-)
it's fun being a splitter. good luck to you too
yep, our numbers are very similar...it will be an interesting cycle for those of us in this boat. we're probably great examples of how soft factors can sway admissions committees
and congratulations on your acceptances. I will be paying attention to your cycle as we have similar numbers and some of the same schools. Do you know what your first choice is yet? Good luck!
It's nerve-racking being a splitter, you never know what you're going to get. Good luck!
Yep. I hate this wait!
I got an email on the 8th. it said the mailing was on its way, i havent seen it yet.
Thanks, same to you. Just got to stay positive haha.
On inn. That's awesome!
Yeah, I'm not optimistic, it's a very tough school to get into. Cornell and Duke are my only remaining T14 schools remaining!
people have told me BC trumps BU if you want to stay in town afterwards, but I;m not a native so hard to say. Congrats on Minn. - your top choice?
Yeah, it stinks about Georgetown. Out of those that have accepted me thusfar, I'm leaning towards Washington and Lee, although I'd like the D.C. market for George Mason and IU is attractive because of the scholarship I already know I have. Obviously, Duke and Cornell would be my top picks still, but I'm not holding out hope, George Washington is probably my number 1 right now.
Congrats to you, too! Looks like you've got a great record so far - best of luck with the rest of your decisions!
Congrats on George Washington! You give me hope! I hope that it wasn't Political Campaign Manager that put you over the top, because this is my number one at this point! Maybe we'll be classmates there! ;)
Thanks and congrats!
congrats on your acceptances... also have was a TA, for what course?
you and i have been having nearly an identical cycle so far.
Congrats on Boston College! Any thoughts about preference as your cycle stands so far? Mine's looking (while more limited) very similar to yours, and UIUC is looking very attractive with the money/prestige equation. Good luck on the rest of your cycle!
Sent you one, curious about something.
its so nice to have that agonizing uncertainty over and done with. from the looks of your lengthy acceptance list you cant really go wrong--congrats! but hopefully i do end up seeing you in the fall at hastings...you really cannot beat san francisco any time of the year! :) take care and best of luck deciding
Congrats on Notre Dame! I'm waiting on my own, but I applied late, after they sent me a fee waiver, and might be waiting for a while.
On ND. That email is a huge relief
Waitlist? Who do they think they are? Ha!
Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. I mean, i wasn't banking on them or anything, but what the hell?
Touche! So have you narrowed down your choices?
Are you planning on going to any of their open houses? I'm going to be at the one in about 3 weeks, it's a slight front-runner for me. Good luck in the rest of your cycle!
on those acceptances, from a fellow banana slug :)
Good job on Oregon. It's amazing how long William and Mary is taking, my cycle is done except for them and Cornell, and I didn't have any kind of problems with W&M (that could explain the delay) like I did with Cornell!
Looks like you have a lot of choices, narrowed it down yet to where you are going?
I know that you weren't able to make the admitted students day, but I think that you should keep it in mind with that scholarship. I was highly impressed by their faculty and plans for the future.
Yup, I'm still planning on ND unless the impossible happens with Duke or Cornell. I'm going out to Indiana to visit in April.
Definitely my top choice at this point. Holding out on putting in my deposit in case William and Mary or George Mason come in with a crazy high scholarship, or I get off the wait list into GW before the deposit would be due.
Waitlisted you too, huh? Man, they must have gotten a bunch of applicants that the other schools we applied to did not. Lower ranked than UIUC or W&L, but waitlisting us where they accepted us. Strange.
hmm not so sure. havent received scholarship/fin aid information yet from tulane or madison. cost is a real concern for me so i may have to wait to see whats the least expensive option. i like tulanes programs a little bit more, but am open to madison. i need to research alumni a bit more. how about you? you have a difficult (but awesome) choice to make
i am thrilled to be attending hastings in the fall. the combination of beautiful san francisco and the connections/opportunities available there and the greater bay area really made the decision easy for me. the chance to sit for class on the same block as city hall and nearly all levels of court is just something you cant find anywhere else. plus i love northern california and the hastings name is well-regarded here. so...have i sold you yet? :) best of luck with your decision-making and hopefully we can be classmates in the fall!
How'd your visit at UIUC go?
Hi, sorry to bother, but i'm begging you to withdraw from Davis if you're not planning to attend. With my stats it's miracle i'm waitlisted at Davis and I'm hoping for another miracle to be accepted :)
thank you and good luck in DC or San Fran! whichever you choose :)
It seems that we are as about as close to number twins as you can get. All of your Index's are the same (except i have a .1 lead at wash U...badass) Good luck, I hope we go somewhere great.
