2/10/05- Acceptance from Widener- 8"x10" white envelope

4/04/05- Spoke to admissions at PSU: my file is one of 30 being reviewed this week. Hopefully there will be an answer soon.

4/30/05- WL from Penn State. Already sent seat deposit to Widener but I will hold out until the end of June for PSU.

5/02/05- After another (nice) phone call with admissions at PSU, I will remain on the WL for the whole summer. Can't hurt so why not?

5/13/05- Received offer from PSU Dickinson for deferred acceptance for 2006 academic year. I plan to accept it. One more year of waiting will not make much difference to me- this will be my second career. I am glad I can start it before I turn 40.

2/18/06- Tough choice here: move to Philadelphia to take the $$$ offer from Drexel or stay put and go to PSU. Seat deposit is in at PSU....

3/31/06- I am going to PSU Dickinson!! There will be major renovations over the next two years at the Carlisle campus, and the temporary space looks spectacular.

I'm semi-non traditional. I'll be 31 when I graduate law. It's difficult to get back into school once you are done/drop out, so I applaud you for that (finished my degree in 10 years going full time some or most of the time). It is even more difficult to uproot yourself, but if you feel so inclined, we would love to have a voice of experience (I am at least old enough to know I don't know crap) I'm originally from Lancaster! Man, I love philly. Good luck!
