I AM GOING TO BE A THIRD YEAR AT CAL COUBLE MAJORING IN INTERDISCIPLINARY FIELD STUDIES AND AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDIES WITH A MINOR IN EDUCATION!!!! I AM GOING TO GRADUATE AS A FIFTH YEAR AND SO I HAVE ROUGHLY 3 YEARS TO GET AS MUCH ADVICE AS POSSIBLE, GET THE BEST LSAT SCORE I CAN AND GET INTO ALL OF MY DREAM LAW SCHOOLS. I WANT TO MAKE THE HARD DECISION BETWEEN THE THREE AND HOPEFULLY THE LAW SCHOOL ADMISSIONS PROCESS DOESN'T MAKE IT FOR ME. IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ADVICE FOR ME PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST A MESSAGE!!!!

Do things that you love (extra currics) in college but keep your grades up as high as you can. It's important to work on developing yourself in a well rounded way. Learning to speak well, write well, interact with others, work in groups, etc... are all good things. You have semester after semester to invest in a high GPA but only one shot at a high LSAT so make sure to get the best grades. Be honest with yourself and know when you're taking on too much at once. Sometimes, you'll need to drop a class or an activity. Be okay with that. Be careful how much pre-law advice you seek. You don't want to freak yourself out. Taking the test when you're way too stressed about the consequences is a bad idea. Don't spend too much time on those law school message boards. Sometimes, they're helpful but a lot of the time they just make you sick with worry. Let me know if you'd like to discuss this all more. Good luck!
