I am currently a CPA for a large public accounting firm. So my activities are professional organization related and volunteer related (but pretty active in college). Various leadership roles throughout the firm, top performer, etc.

I went the CPA route because I couldn't afford to continue my education beyond my masters degree. Looking to get my JD to move outside of tax accounting and into law...hard to do so at current firm (most who work in national practices or specialized roles are lawyers).

Hoping to stay in the NYC/CT area (exception of Harvard)...obviously these schools will be difficult to gain admission to.
