I am finishing up my BA in philosophy from the Catholic University of America, a school well known for its philosophy program. I studied for 1 week for the lsat (big mistake but i literally had not time to study) and got a 156. I applied ASAP after i got my scores so we will see what happens. What i look for in a school.. I just want what is going to offer me the best education and what is going to make me the best lawyer I can be. I'm interested in litigation so would be THRILLED to make it into Baylor.. but i'm sure that is going to be a DING. After that OU, Tulsa, University of St. Thomas, then finally OCU. Lets see what happens!

March 23 - Well i got my first acceptance. I was happy to get SOMETHING! But I was kind of hoping to get some $$ from Tulsa, but i guess applying so late led me to get ZIP.. oh well.. That might just throw Tulsa out of my list..

March 31 - Just got three letters from Tulsa today. The first stated that they needed some more information (Which i had already sent in), the next was how much i was getting in loans, and the next was a scholarship for 16,000! I'm thrilled! I'm pretty sure that Tulsa is where i'm going, but i will wait for OU and baylor and see what happens!

April 12th - In at OCU

April 17th - Got a call from the director of Admissions at the University of St. Thomas... You have to love the accent! So far so good.. I have been accepted at 3 out of the 5 school to which I applied!

May 2nd - I called OU because I had heard that they would make the decision May 1st. I had a seat deposit due at TU on the 7th so asked if I could recieve my decision over the phone. I'm in!!!!!! I'm very excited! OU was one of my top choices and is close to my family. OU here I come!

I talked with Admissions yesterday and they said that the committee is meeting on May 1st to make final decisions.
